During HVAC Commissioning, Paladin inspects each HVAC component to ensure that the system was installed correctly and meets the owner’s project requirements and the designer’s intent. Meeting the owner’s vision and, when applicable, delivering requirements for LEED or other green building standards, is part and parcel with our standard process.
Paladin’s commissioning of electrical systems verifies and documents low-voltage, normal, and emergency power operations of the building. Meeting the OPR of safe, reliable power is essential to a well-commissioned electrical system.
Times change, buildings switch hands, and owners sometimes need to pivot from the building’s original design intent. Paladin’s Retro Commissioning capabilities support adaptations and address changes in occupancy since construction.
SCOPE 1 EMISSIONS CALCULATIONS
One of the first steps of a Carbon Neutral strategy is to calculate a building’s Scope 1 Emissions. Scope 1 Emissions are the direct emissions from a building or system which include the combustion of fossil fuels. Paladin can pull data from all on-site and off-site emissions to get a complete picture of an organization’s total Scope 1 Emissions and identify areas where emissions can be reduced or even eliminated. In some cases, we will recommend the purchase of carbon offsets to apply to the company’s operations.
